Two Short Storeys Summer Camp!
We are a full-service, immersive summer camp experience for children 4 years to 6 years of age, committed to providing optimal care and to providing a safe and caring environment for children, parents, staff, students, and volunteers.
At Two Short Storeys, four key fundamentals drive our curriculum and our daycare environment.

We ensure your child is viewed as competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. Children are encouraged to initiate and engage in the environment around them, and a staff supported play-based learning approach allows each child to grow and mature at their own pace.
Open Communication
We believe that no one knows a child better than you, their parent or caregiver, and as such, our staff work to maintain a positive and open relationship with every family.
This means daily communication through electronic communication, phone calls, notes, emails, documentation and every day, our staff keep you abreast of your child’s activities and development.

8 x 1-week programs with the option to sign-up for as many weeks as you wish!
Program
Each week will have a different theme and will include a local field trip!
The Two Short Storeys Summer Camp experience includes all of the following:
- Extended hours included! (8:30am – 5:30pm)
- Morning/afternoon snack and hot lunch cooked daily on-site by our chef!
- Outdoor adventures every day!
- Immersive classroom experience focused on art, science, and FUN!
Space is limited to 16 children per week.
Requirements:
- Must be 4 years of age or older, or 6 years of age of younger in 2019
- Must be able to provide current immunization records
- Must love having FUN and getting outdoors!
Campers at Two Short Storeys are introduced to stimulating day camp activities in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Our amazing Camp Director works to ensure the camp program, and daily activities, are focused on the particular needs of our campers. Activities are indoors and outdoors depending on the temperature and weather.
Counsellor-to-camper ratios are a maximum of 1:8. During many periods of the day, assistant counsellors or specialty staff join the groups, lowering the ratio to as much as 1:4.
Daily Activities
Daily activities include athletics, arts and crafts, music and drama, circle games, group activities, science activities, parachute games, hiking, sing-songs, team-based sports, storytelling and more!

Arrival and drop-off begins!Complimentary pick-up/drop-off parking on site. TTC – 504 and 505 streetcars run along Broadview Avenue; exit at Langley Avenue. 506 streetcar runs along Gerrard Street; exit at Broadview. |

Morning Smiles & Snack!Led by Two Short Storeys camp staff, this 20-minute kick-off time happens every morning with announcements and important news of the day to get things started on the right foot. We enjoy homemade snacks while we prep for the day! |

Creative Play!Between 9:30am and 11:30am, campers take part in a 30-minute rotation of different group activities in the classroom or outside! This includes dramatic play, arts and crafts, dance, circle time, singing, and science! |

Lunch BreakA hot lunch prepared from scratch by our amazing in-house Chef! Our lunch meals are both nutritious and tasty, and we serve fruit and vegetables every day! |

Afternoon Adventure PrepEvery day after lunch, counsellors and program staff perform skits and special events to get us ready for the afternoon and explain our outdoor activities. |

Afternoon Adventure!Group and specialty activities. Our 60-minute afternoon activity periods include outdoor arts and crafts, athletics, music, drama, science, along with scheduled group activities planned by the cabin counsellors. On special days we go to Riverdale Farm or on long park excursions to explore the natural world around us. |

Afternoon SnackBack inside for a delicious and nutritious snack to recharge the battery and get us ready for afternoon activity! If possible, snack will be taken outdoors to be enjoyed as a picnic! |

Roundup & Final PlayIt’s almost time to go home, but not before we golden broom our room and make sure it’s tip-top for our next day! We also award and acknowledge our campers of the day! |

Winding Down the DayDismissal time! Campers (and their siblings) get ready for parents and guardians so they can talk all about the day’s activities. |

Camp is closed for the dayAll children must be picked up as they day has ended and camp is closed. |
