Nutrition.

Eating healthy increases your child’s energy, sense of well-being, academic performance and self-esteem. We understand that nutrition is connected to development and your child’s ability to learn.  Eating healthy foods today, and being good to our bodies, will pave the way for healthy eating habits tomorrow!  We also believe that our menus should reflect the incredible cultural diversity of Toronto so we work hard to provide globally inspired dishes.

Healthy eating

Eating healthy is a cornerstone in our approach to childcare.  We teach that eating well is just as important as sharing, or reading, or anything else.  Eating healthy is essential for our learning and development.

Fresh meals prepared daily in-house

The food choices we make for our children today lay the foundation for their eating habits tomorrow.  As such, we promote a healthy attitude towards food we know will carry into adulthood.  This means fresh ingredients and fresh meals prepared in-house every day.

We know what’s in it because we made it

Childhood food allergies are very serious, and as such, we take every precaution to ensure we address these concerns in our cooking.  We believe that no child should be forced to eat alone or eat away from their friends, so we eliminate dangerous foods from respective classrooms.  No outside food is allowed in the centre, and meals are carefully prepared with each classroom allergy considered.  We are a completely nut-free daycare!
