As children reach the age of two, they excitedly explore all that they see in an attempt to better understand the world around them. To foster this excitement, we interact, observe and help them with further discovery by organizing activities and investigations that expand their learning capabilities.
Our focus is on structure and embracing independence, with an emphasis on cognitive learning. Our program promotes greater independence, problem-solving, integration of new concepts, and working with others towards common goals. Socialization is of paramount importance as we help children work well with others. Our teachers help your child to create routines, which simultaneously allows them to feel competent and confident in the classroom and by extension, at home.
New kinds of foods are introduced, and children learn to eat and share with others. All meals and snacks are prepared fresh onsite each day by our highly accomplished Chef. Our goal is to always create pride and ownership of the food they are eating.
The transition to kindergarten is an exciting one for children, as they take on a new-found independence, and are empowered to make a vast array of new choices in their day. It can, however, be difficult if children aren’t ready for the self-reliance expected. Our goal is to ensure children are ready for the transition, and we achieve this end by introducing many of the routines that come with the kindergarten experience.
