Last week, it was our turn to visit our @montcrestschool buddies on their grounds! Having to take the TTC, it was a fun adventure from beginning to end. Our thoughtful buddies from Montcrest planned three interactive and exciting activities for us. Together, we...

🎵 sang some classic songs (including Baby Shark and Baa Baa Black Sheep), had a dance party along with Sally the horse, and explored a few musical instruments

🎨 engaged in a collaborative dotty art project where we drew the outlines of our hands and filled it up with colours of our choosing

and,

🛝 explored their beautiful outdoor playground that includes slides, a rock climbing wall, spider web, building materials, and more!

We had such an incredible time and are eagerly awaiting our next Montcrest visit next month!

We also want to mention that this trip wouldn't have been possible without the incredible parent and family volunteers that we had. Thank you, thank you!

Today is an important day for us as we acknowledge the significance Childcare Workers and Early Childhood Educators have in our world. We entrust these professionals with providing care and support for our youngest generation. The impact they have also goes beyond the classroom and as they create trusting relationships with the families they work alongside. While we show our appreciation throughout the year, we make today particularly special and treat our teachers with some deliciousness to celebrate themselves! With some fresh, tasty sushi and the classic pumpkin spice latte for all, we hope to add some extra joy in this day all about you! Happy ECE day!

Did you know we had the most EPIC way to wrap up the summer? 🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧🫧 Children (and teachers) had an absolute blast with our foam party! The bubbles continued to come as we swam through and had fun piling it on ourselves to fashion some bubble hats. While some were cautious at first (understandably, it's a lot of bubbles), we had a hard time ending it with how much fun was had!

Hello, @montcrestschool! Last week, we had our first meet up for the new school year. Our buddies came prepared with some introduction activities, songs, and plenty of stories for our Preschoolers to choose from to be read. We had such a great time and are looking forward to our next visit... when we go to their school!

Our Preschoolers are eagerly awaiting for this trip and we already have some fantastic parent volunteers who will be joining us for the trip. See you soon!!

Yesterday, our children (and teachers) enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving meal! With a nice change from the usual lunch set up, children were presented with beautiful fall displays to enjoy their meal with their (school) family.

On the menu was,
○ herb roasted turkey breast
○ mashed potatoes
○ gravy
○ maple roasted carrots

Summer time brings our Preschoolers the opportunit

Summer time brings our Preschoolers the opportunity it to take care of caterpillars, providing them a hands on opportunity to watch the life cycle of a butterfly take place. Children grow a bond to these little critters as they name them, observe them all day, and grow super excited when they form their cocoon! Once they are out, children can see the newly formed butterflies with their beautiful wings. Once they're ready and the day is warm enough, the butterflies are released. 🦋

Another family engagement success with our beloved parents that we honored earlier this month. Children brought their loved ones in to engage in planned activities. Rooms varied from having arts and crafts, STEM activities, and outdoor obstacle courses. Thank you to everyone for joining us!

A throwback to one of our @montcrestschool visits! Our buddies helped our Preschoolers fill out an "All About Me" page. While we shared some things about us, we also got to learn about our new friends. 💗

On Friday, families were invited to celebrate Moth

On Friday, families were invited to celebrate Mother's Day with our loved ones. We love having opportunities for families to come in and spend time with their child's teachers and the other families. 🌸

We had a variety of art activities set up for families to engage in with their children. This included decorating flower pots, planting seeds, decorating frames, and an immersive art studio.
